This extraordinary gathering will feature:

🎨 “An Evening with the Artist” Talk with Jemar Sweets, Pennsylvania-based travel photographer and The Civic Club of Harrisburg’s featured artist.

🎭 Keynote Performance: Rev. Jackson, a distinguished Artistic Director, Living Historian, and Teaching and Performing Artist specializing in drama. His performance will honor the legacy and contributions of our ancestors to the arts.

📜 Special Guest Speaker: Maria James-Thiaw, an award-winning poet, playwright, and performer. She will open the evening with a poem reflecting the theme of Black History and the Arts.

💬 Panel Discussion: Members of the Civic Club’s Art Unites the World Artist Advisory Council and Maria James-Thiaw, will share insights and stories celebrating Black artistry and resilience.

🎶 Vibrant Performances: Enjoy live performances that bring the spirit of Black history and creativity to life.
