Mudpuppies. Snot otters. Old lasagna sides. The eastern hellbender goes by many names — but it's missing from a lot of our local waterways. Creeks like the Yellow Breeches are too polluted for them to call home.
The Hellbender Hootenanny is a night of local music benefiting the Central PA Conservancy and their work to restore cleaner habitats right here in Central PA. Five bands from across the region, one night, fifteen bucks — and every dollar goes toward protecting the waterways in our backyard.
The Central PA Conservancy works to conserve land, protect water quality, and restore natural habitats throughout our region. When you show up, you're helping fund that work locally.
