ArtsFest (May 24-26)

The 58th annual Artsfest returns to Riverfront Park and will feature 150+ juried artisans and craftsmen from across the country. Hand-crafted works will be available for sale in sixteen different categories, including ceramics, digital, drawing, fiber (decorative and wearable), furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, miscellaneous, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood. The festival also features live entertainment, Jazzfest, Kidsfest, HBGFest powered by the HBG Flea, 25 food trucks and more. (Page will be updated as details are confirmed)

Artisans

Over 170 artisans will be on-site selling their handcrafted wares in 16 categories like ceramic, digital art, metal, jewelry, printmaking and more.

Kidsfest

The Kidsfest will provide fun for the whole family!

Each day, children can enjoy free activities like face painting, balloon animals, DIY sidewalk chalk art, crafts, and a variety of other creative, art-focused experiences.

Community Art Project

Get creative with a hands-on block printing activity! Attendees can carve their own rubber stamp design and help create a collaborative mural that will later be applied to large planters along 2nd Street. Plus, watch four local artists—Dionn Renee, Gloriajean Martin, Eric Tonzola, and Robert & Caroline—bring additional planters to life as part of the “Paint the Planters” contest.

Food & Drink

Enjoy a variety of delicious bites from 25 food trucks, including stuffed waffles, dumplings, cheesesteaks, gyros, hibachi, pizza, fried chicken sandwiches, crab cakes and more. Festival favorites such as funnel cakes, sausages, and Farm Show Milkshakes will also be available!

Local breweries and vineyards will be on-site by the stage near State St.

Arts Fest Music

Entertainment

17 entertainment groups, including live bands, dance groups, school and community groups plus more will perform throughout the event at the UPMC stage near State Street.

Jazz-Fest

A variety of local high school Jazz groups and Jazz musicians will be performing.

Art Association's Concert Series

Hosted by the Wednesday Club, this series will feature 35+ musicians, including singers, instrumentalists and ensemble performers in the Young, Collegiate, Resident Professional Concert Artist memberships, and other guest musicians from throughout Central Pennsylvania. 

Parking

Metered street parking is free on May 25 & 26. On May 24, street parking in the Downtown area (see map here) is free after 5pm. 

$5 parking on City Island

$10 parking at the Market Square Garage from 9am-9pm courtesy of Park Harrisburg.

$5 parking at the River Street Garage on Saturdays from 8am-5pm. You must enter & exit within this time frame to receive the discounted rate.

Handicapped street parking spaces will be available on State Street near Front Street.
