July 4th Food Truck Festival

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the City of Harrisburg will host the July 4th Food Truck Festival at Riverfront Park from 1-9 pm. Enjoy 40+ food trucks, live music, a wine/beer garden, roller skating, line dancing, free kids’ activities, and more. Then end the night by celebrating America's 250th birthday with one of the largest fireworks displays in Central PA.

Several live bands will perform throughout the day at the main Stage. See the 2026 schedule below:

 

Food Trucks

The festival will feature over 45 food trucks, including stuffed waffles, dumplings, cheesesteaks, gyros, hibachi, tacos, pizza, fried chicken sandwiches, crab cakes and more. Festival favorites such as funnel cakes, sausages, and Farm Show Milkshakes will also be available!

Beer & Wine Garden

Indulge in a delightful selection of local wines, refreshing wine slushies, and craft beers provided by a variety of esteemed vineyards and breweries, all the while enjoying beautiful views of the Susquehanna River.

Participating businesses include, Agape Elixir Bar, Boneshire Brew Works, J & P Brewery, K2 Creamery, & Zeroday Brewing

Family Fun

There will be plenty of FREE family fun for everyone! From 12 PM to 7 PM, kids can conquer a free inflatable obstacle course and enjoy festival staples like face painting and balloon animals. You can also visit a free petting zoo featuring mini Highland cows, goats, and sheep from 12 PM to 5 PM, or catch River Barry for a Bubble Magic Show (1–2 PM) followed by interactive bubble fun (2–4 PM).

But the excitement doesn't end there! Take a short trip to nearby City Island, where you can embark on a thrilling railroad ride or test your putting skills with a round of mini golf. There's no shortage of enjoyment for the whole family!

FREE metered street parking for the holiday, $5 parking on City Island, $10 parking from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Market Square Garage courtesy of Park Harrisburg

Free bike parking at Walnut & Front Street courtesy of Recycle Bicycle. The train station is a short 3 block walk away.
