July 4th Food Truck & Fireworks Festival

On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the City of Harrisburg will host the July 4th Food Truck Festival & Fireworks at Riverfront Park from 1-9pm. This one-day event will feature music, delicious food, activities for children and the largest fireworks show in Central PA! 


Arts Fest Music

Fireworks

Illuminating the Susquehanna River waterfront, the July 4th fireworks display is one of the largest in our region! The show will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. and can be viewed from miles of space along Riverfront Park, City Island and other locations in the City of Harrisburg.

Live Music

Several live bands will perform throughout the day at the main Stage.

Food Trucks

The festival will feature over 45 food trucks, including stuffed waffles, dumplings, cheesesteaks, gyros, hibachi, tacos, pizza, fried chicken sandwiches, crab cakes and more. Festival favorites such as funnel cakes, sausages, and Farm Show Milkshakes will also be available!

Beer & Wine Garden

Indulge in a delightful selection of local wines, refreshing wine slushies, and craft beers provided by a variety of esteemed vineyards and breweries, all the while enjoying beautiful views of the Susquehanna River.

Family Fun

There will be plenty of FREE family fun for the whole family! Delight in the whimsical art of balloon animals and indulge in the colorful transformations of face painting. Engage in friendly competition with a variety of entertaining yard games.

But the excitement doesn't end there! Take a short trip to nearby City Island, where you can embark on a thrilling railroad ride, test your putting skills with a round of mini golf, or embark on a scenic voyage aboard the magnificent Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat. There's no shortage of enjoyment for the whole family!

Parking & Transit

FREE street parking for the holiday, $5 parking on City Island, $10 parking from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. at the Market Square Garage courtesy of Park Harrisburg

Free bike parking at Walnut & Front Street courtesy of Recycle Bicycle. The train station is a short 3 block walk away.
