1. Discover PA History - The State Museum of Pennsylvania
Learn about local wildlife, stargaze at the Planetarium, and explore all things Pennsylvania at The State Museum! Admission for both the Museum and Planetarium checks in at $8 for kids (ages 1-11) and $10 for adults. Exhibits and events are constantly changing making this local gem a popular spot to visit time after time for locals and tourists alike. 
  
2. Float The Day Away - Susquehanna Outfitters
Explore Central Pennsylvania’s beautiful creeks and rivers with canoes and kayaks from Susquehanna Outfitters! We recommend starting on City Island and renting a tandem kayak for just $15/person. Paddle your way around the island or explore one of the many clusters of islands further up the river. Reserve your boat any time from 10 AM - 6 PM, Tuesday-Sunday.

3. Catch A Game On City Island - Harrisburg Senators 
Take the fam out to the ball game and score a great deal! Harrisburg Senators games take place in FNB Field on City Island. Online tickets start at just $9 which even leaves you some extra cash for peanuts and cracker jacks! 4. Watch A Movie At Whitaker - Whitaker Center
Mix up family movie night with a visit to Select Medical Digital Cinema at Whitaker Center. This impressive theater boasts Central PA’s largest screen, which measures in at four stories tall, that’s 38 feet high and 70 feet wide! Enjoy a variety of films from Hollywood blockbusters to educational documentaries in this unique full-immersion environment. Cinema tickets range from $8-$11.75 for juniors (ages 3-17) and $9.50-$13.75 for adults.

5. Take A Ride On The Pride - The Pride Of The Susquehanna
Experience Harrisburg’s rich history and ecology by boat on The Pride Of The Susquehanna. This authentic stern-driven paddle wheel riverboat has been afloat since 1988 with the goal of educating residents and visitors on the Harrisburg region. Hop aboard a daily sightseeing tour for just $5 for kids (ages 3-12) and $10 for adults. You can take in the views from inside the climate-controlled cabin or enjoy the outdoors from the second story deck. Soda, beer, candy, and snack items are also available for purchase from the indoor bar area and with your leftover cash why not treat yourself.
