Sunset Music & Movie Series at Fort Hunter
Join Dauphin County Parks & Recreation for a summer of fun with the Sunset Music & Movie Series at Fort Hunter Park! This free, 13-week series alternates between highlighting local live music performing arts organizations and family-friendly movies.

Movie nights begin at 8:30 pm and live performance nights begin at 7:00 pm. Pack a picnic basket, bring your blankets and lawn chairs, or purchase something on-site:

On Movie Nights: The Friends of Fort Hunter will sell popcorn, candy, and beverages to benefit the park.

On Performance Nights: A rotating selection of dessert and snack food trucks will be available.

Midtown Cinema
Friends of Midtown and Midtown Cinema are bringing back the Outdoor Film Series for 2026! These events are completely free to attend in the Midtown Cinema parking lot (250 Reilly Street). Don't forget to grab your lawn chairs!

New this year: Enjoy FREE live music before every single movie, alongside food trucks and community pop-ups. Films begin at dusk.

- July 11: Superman with the Puppy Adoption Van from the Harrisburg Humane Society
- August 22: Mean Girls with 717 Tacos Food Truck

The City’s Movie Nights at the Bandshell returns this summer. Bring snacks and enjoy family-friendly movies on the lawn at Reservoir Park’s Bandshell. Refreshments available while supplies last. Movies begin at 8pm.

The Millworks hosts rooftop movie series once a month through October. Grab dinner at the restaurant and then head upstairs for a movie!
