Outdoor movies are an essential part of summer in Harrisburg. Bring your family, friends, blankets and a picnic for a great time watching movies under the stars!
Sunset Music & Movie Series at Fort Hunter
Join Dauphin County for music and movie nights under the stars at Fort Hunter Park from June through August. This series will alternate between featuring local live music and family friendly movies.
Movie nights begin at 8:30 pm and live performance nights begin at 7:00 pm.
Pack a picnic basket or purchase dinner from a food truck and enjoy the following movies:
- June 7: The Wizard of Oz
- June 21: Wonka
- July 5: Elemental
- July 19: Migration
- August 2: Wish
- August 16: The Little Mermaid

The City’s Movie Nights at the Bandshell returns this summer. Bring snacks and enjoy family-friendly movies on the lawn at Reservoir Park’s Bandshell. Refreshments available while supplies last

Friends of Midtown and Midtown Cinema are hosting free movie nights in the Midtown Cinema parking lot. Don't forget to grab your lawn chairs and bring a donation for Ecumenical Food Pantry Harrisburg and GLO HBG!
