Why This Event Matters
Obstacle sports are experiencing rapid growth worldwide and will make their Olympic debut as part of the modern pentathlon at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. That makes the Obstacle Sports Expo one of the best opportunities in the country to see the future stars of the sport compete up close.
The event also shines an international spotlight on Harrisburg and the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, one of the largest and most versatile event venues in the state. The exposure helps introduce new visitors to the region's attractions, hospitality, and event facilities while generating economic activity that supports local jobs and businesses.
Whether you want to cheer on a future world champion, introduce your kids to a new sport, or simply want to experience something unique, the 2026 Obstacle Sports Expo should be on your summer bucket list.
